Requested Move
[edit]Please move this article to "Winter Park High School" due to capitalization errors on the article page. By the way, thanks wikipedia, for: A) Making me unable to move the article myself B) Making me unable to remove the incorrect templates at the top of this page
Also, when I submitted this page to the "requested moves" page, it didn't show up! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Reverb10 (talk • contribs) 20:53, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
- I moved this, it's not a big deal. --Tony SidawayTalk 02:22, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
I looked at this article bec I needed the school's address. Article shows original location, says when it was moved to new loc, but not what the new location is. I had to go to the school's web site for the address. N. Granger
Removal of Directors' Decisions
[edit]Umm.. why was the info about the futures of this year's directors deleted? I think that info should stay. I'm adding it back.71.0.240.110 06:08, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
TO much emphasis on Performing arts
[edit]I believe there is a huge emphasis on the band. Im am going to shorten it and add some athletic accomplishments.
If you want to add athletic accomplishments, be my guest. But don't change the band part. The band really is the pride of the school and it deserves to be recognized for all of its hard work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Galindafiedforever (talk • contribs) 21:27, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
This is completely opinionated, what if I don't believe the band accomplished anything special? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.40.137.205 (talk) 23:24, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Then you're wrong. 71.52.108.244 (talk) 04:06, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
TO add Model United Nations accomplishments
[edit]Hi all, I am going to add a short section on the Model United nations club, if anyone has any problems just state them on here before you revert thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.40.138.138 (talk) 01:25, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Too Much Irrelevant Information
[edit]I think that the clubs area should be removed as the information is impossible to cite and is not wiki worthy. The POV of the article is also biased as it seems to brag about the school. Kurt (talk) 15:46, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
"is not wiki worthy"
Are you now the determiner of whether an article is "Wiky worthy." That assertion alone is very biased. The clubs at Winter Park are very active and have large membership. I don't know what you mean about bragging. Any politicians page could be considered to contain bragging, so I don't know how you came to that conclusion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.110.77.152 (talk) 23:07, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Citations and wording issues
[edit]Almost all of the performing arts section, and indeed a good portion of the article, lacks citations. I didn't want to go through removing information, but I did put of a request, and flagged some claims that seemed more difficult to verify as needing citations. Eventually though, someone probably should remove these claims if they never get cited. Mpgviolist (talk) 23:33, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
As for the peacock message, problems mostly arise in the same section, where various programs are described as "notable" and "recognized" without elaboration or sources.Mpgviolist (talk)
Can anyone tell me why Wilmington, North Carolina is pulling through? It does not show up here on Wiki, but it does show on Facebook via Wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.93.3.46 (talk) 20:18, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
