I don't know whether comments of this kind belong in a Wikipedia article. They may be better suited to a review article.
I was struck by two unrealistic aspects of the movie. First, the Bluegrass music is great and I appreciated it. But it is clearly professionally performed and produced --- not of quality commensurate with what would be expected in the setting of this movie. Second, the dialogue is a caricature of how the film makers perceive the local idiom, not what would be really heard in the region depicted in the movie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dagme (talk • contribs) 03:00, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will add to that comment you made about the so-called two "unrealistic" parts of the film, the Bluegrass music and the talk. First of all, not everyone from those areas are always going to be the same, or even close. Second, there are those who are excellent musicians and singers who just never care to go make millions off doing it. I have two of those people in my family who could blow away most musicians on the circuit today, trust me on that. You are one of those people who not really pay attention to the point of the movie and what it is saying at all. In fact, I pity people like you, as this movie was not for mere entertainment to begin with. The director will verify that fact, and also all the awards it received show what I am talking about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.166.132.174 (talk) 13:43, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
