Weak Oppose. I see the consistency argument. But there are multiple offices of states with "Chancellor" in the title, most notably the "Lord Chancellor", the head of the judiciary, a government ministerial office which has been of great prominence historically (much more than it is now). There may be a modern assumption that "chancellor" usually refers to "of the exchequer" rather than "lord chancellor", given the shift in their relative prominence in the post-war period, but I'd be reluctant to apply that backwards. Support per nom. If used for the Lord Chancellor, I think it would always be "Lord Chancellorship". And given Churchill was never Lord Chancellor there's no ambiguity in any case. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:58, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
