Is this not the firm that started to provide fully machined kits of Tiger tanks, Britannia locomotives and such like? If so I think that this ought to be mentioned. They had quite an effect on the model making world at the time. Whereas previously only highly skilled and well equiped people could build such models, with the kits just about anyone could have a go. This produced resentment and approval in equal measure.
