First I rescued this External link via Internet Archive, and expanded its description thus, nearly reference-ready.

Winifred Cawley (1915–2001) at Myers Literary Guide: The North-East — Alan Myers (Centre for Northern Studies, 2004); archived 2007-09-14

Then I read it. It seemed familiar so I compared with the obituary by Julia Eccleshare and deleted it as a paraphrase too close for comfort. Paraphrase plus some more detail about Cawley's stories.
