Windows Home Server 2011?

[edit]

Shoul not this page renamed Windows Home Server 2011? 13:59, 13 January 2011 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.99.48.166 (talk)

What is this?

[edit]

I came here to read up on what "Windows Home Server 2011" actually is. "Home" was a signal for me that this may be something for me to use privately for some reason. But the article says nothing about what this is or does. It just says something about what it has been and stuff. I'll try to get some info on what this actually is somewhere else but I would hope someone will explain in this article what this is all about. Thx. Added short description at the beginning paragraph from the Windows Home Server article. John Ericson (talk) 21:33, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

System requirements

[edit]

According to Microsoft themselves Windows Home Server 2011 requires an x64 platform to be installed. So, why are you stating that it could run on both x86/x64 platforms? Only the rescue disc could run on an x84 platform. Regards.

Seems to say x86-64 which is 64 bit (same as "x64" as you note). Plain "x86" implies 32 bit. Mikebar (talk) 23:59, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

StableBit DrivePool

[edit]

It should be "StableBit DrivePool (CoveCube)", as "StableBit" is part of the product line, and not the company. CoveCube is the company.

Also, WHS2011 seems to be no longer available for purchase, so it's "de facto" discontinued. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.175.105.90 (talk) 07:24, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
