Merge propsal

[edit]

I think the "Violet hill" part should be merged to the Tai Tam or Wong Nai Chung Gap articles instead, in my opinion Wong Nai Chung Gap is the more appropiate one. (Bernard 01:08, 6 April 2006 (UTC))

Per to the result from this debate, I'll be merging the two articles. Tavatar (talk) 15:45, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge reverted. Tavatar (talk) 21:05, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stages

[edit]

I have copied most of the information from the Agriculture department site for the Stages section, hopefully we can find more reliable sources for the stages rather than relying on one single source. The whole page plus that section still needs a little cleanup. Tavatar (talk) 02:20, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Note: The text inserted by Tavatar in September 2009 was likely copied from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) website (see Tavatar's comment above). The text at hkwalkers.net was likely also copied from the AFCD website. Even if that was actually the case, copyright issues would not be solved, since the AFCD copyright policy reads "The information within this website may be re-disseminated or reproduced, provided that Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), as the source of information, is acknowledged and that the re-dissemination or reproduction is for non-commercial use." [1]. Such a copyright license is not compatible with Wikipedia's, which allows commercial use of its content. Underwaterbuffalo (talk) 16:23, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
