Inaccurate Geography section
[edit]According to the second paragraph of the Geography section of this article:
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2), all of it land.
However, according to the last sentence of the intro paragraph:
Wilmerding is adjacent to the borough of Turtle Creek, which takes its name from a small stream that flows past both places.
I can personally confirm (since I live in this area) that the creek the gives it's name to Turtle Creek flows directly through both Turtle Creek and Wilmerding, which can be confirmed in any accurate mapping site (i.e. Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, etc.). Either someone put the wrong data from the Census Bureau (I see no reference attached to that statement!), or someone at the Census Bureau needs to get his head out of the sand and take another look at Wilmerding.
Unfortunately the search tools on census.gov are proving uncooperative in finding any information on Wilmerding. Can someone please help find information that is actually accurate to replace this with?

- That’s an unusual source, but not awful. Why don’t you add that with the ref and see if others have an issue with it? — rsjaffe 🗣️ 02:18, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
