GA hold comments
[edit]I think the article is pretty close to GA. If these three issues are addressed I'll pass it.
- Need citation immediately after quotations, such as Rockwell described Gillis as "an inoffensive, ordinary little guy thrown into the chaos of war." --TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 13:59, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- For this kind of opinion, I'd like to see who thought it was a good ending more explicitly mentioned: Rockwell creatde a good ending for the series by depicting Gillis relaxing while studying at college on the G.I. Bill. --TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 14:06, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- This seems out of place in the last paragraph in Post Illustrations section: Another of Rockwell's wartime characters was Rosie the Riveter. --TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 13:57, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations.
I think this is a really interesting article. The prose is satisfactory for GA, but if you plan to bring this to FA I'd suggest a good copyedit. Good job, and thanks for being so prompt with the changes. Karanacs (talk) 15:17, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
