It was being added BACK after someone was allowed to purge it without explanation last year. Was it you? Virtually NONE of this guy's work is cited. Precisely what do the high overlords of Wikipedia require, and why don't you raise everything on the page for this reason? 129.6.190.21 (talk) 15:31, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The posting history from IP 208.114.124.199 shows that someone removed this embarrassing history from his page, commented about a cruise ship upon which Aames was the cruise director, and posted that he married "his soul mate". Does anyone NOT think this guy is scrubbing his wiki page of documented yet embarrassing information?129.6.190.21 (talk) 17:52, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I see that Willie Aames himself tends to edit his Wiki page and remove "unpleasant" information. I added a paragraph about his past (heavy drug abuse) and cited four (!) sources. As far as I can see this is not a BLP issue, I stated it quite neutral and even added that he recovered from his addictions.
However, I expect that -- like in the past few instances -- someone reverts these edits. If so, please state a reason and/or a policy that was violated. I do think that this information on his past is an important part of his bio, and that there's no reason to remove it just because Aames is embarrassed about it. There's enough sources and this phase of his life gained lots of public coverage. I don't like it either, but keeping it a secret is not the way to go either. 79.254.13.70 (talk) 13:26, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
