Problem Link
[edit]There is a problem with the Vernon Castle link in the first paragraph. It goes to Vernon and Irene Castle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernon_Castle, who were ballroom dancers, not to Vernon Castle in Normandy. I couldn't find an article in English Wikipedia for Vernon Castle, Normandy. There does appear to be one in French Wikipedia that may relate, http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_des_archives_(Vernon) about the Tour des Archive (Archive Tower). There is another article in English Wikipedia on Chateau des Tourelles in Vernon, Normandy, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_des_Tourelles. I am not sure which of these is the castle where William de Redvers grew up. Maybe neither one of them is the Vernon Castle where he grew up. I'm not sure the best way to handle this problem, so I'm putting it in this Talk file. Ninanta (talk) 23:04, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
In my opinion the best action until somebody can clear up the ambiguity of the "castle" reference is to unlink the phrase "Vernon Castle" - this I have done. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RCopple (talk • contribs) 18:32, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
