Political Positions of Bill Weld

[edit]

This article needs a "Political Positions" section, similar to the Ron Paul#Political positions one. In fact, there is even a dedicated Political positions of Ron Paul page.

Should the ancestry section be cited in this article?

[edit]

Normally, if a section has no references, I add the {{Unreferenced section}} tag but I wasn't sure if that's the normal way to handle an ancestry diagram. There is a Weld family article with some cites -- do we normally rely on that to act as the references? Any guidance (or citing) welcome. Stevie is the man! Section tagged, suggest removal. AHampton (talk) 04:54, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Protection

[edit]

This is my opinion but I think this article with need some protection because he is challenging President Trump in the 2020 Republican Primaries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MOADooAH1 (talkcontribs) 03:11, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe at some point. We don't generally protect articles which aren't seeing persistent vandalism. There are enough watchers on this article (including myself) that such will be noticed, and protection imposed at that time. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:57, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bill Weld navbox

[edit]

A few months ago, user Bill cage created a navbox for weld, but i've noticed it only seems to appear in this article, and in none of the other weld related articles. Why is that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sbob99 (talkcontribs) 14:04, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It could be because nobody added it to those other articles you are thinking of. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:40, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Portrait change?

[edit]

I’ve seen comments in other articles about changing a portrait to better represent the subject. On first impression, Weld’s portrait looks relatively bizarre: saturated so as to have a red face and yellow hair. I would welcome someone who knows about these things to find a better one.
