Russell Island Company Co-founder 1914 to 1918
[edit]By April 1914, Mr. Hannan was 1/3 owner of Russell Island, MI. On July 3rd, 1914 Mr. Hannan, Michigan Supreme Court Judge William L Carpenter and Michigan Supreme Court Judge Flavious L Brooke formed the Russell Island Company and proceeded to develop Russell Island as a summer cottage get-a-way after the dissolution of Camp Algonac.
