Confusion
[edit]It's an interesting little snippet, but section "she took up a liaison with Augustus Berkeley, 4th Earl of Berkeley. In 1741, he offered her an income and a separate household on the condition she returned to him" is not clear. As written, it means that Berkley offered her an income etc, but from the sense of it it seems that Vane wanted her to return. Should it be "In 1741, Vane offered her an income ..."

- Yes, of course. Thank you for pointing that out. I hope it is clear enough now. Surtsicna (talk) 10:43, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
Stilted grammar
[edit]This sentence in the Family section is very odd: "His older brothers, Christipher and John, having predeceased their father, he succeeded to the viscountcy on 20 May 1734." Tenorcnj (talk) 13:45, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, Christopher's name was misspelled. Thank you for noticing! Surtsicna (talk) 13:55, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
