The result of the move request was: Moved to William Turner (politician, born 1615) per the below discussion. (non-admin closure) Iffy★Chat -- 14:48, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
William Turner (Lord Mayor) → William Turner (politician, died 1693) – The capitalized partial job title is a poor disambiguator. He was also a member of parliament, and one of several MPs named William Turner. Simply moving this to William Turner (lord mayor) or William Turner (mayor) would be an improvement, but he was probably more notable as an MP and merchant taylor, and was also an alderman and sheriff. —BarrelProof (talk) 01:20, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- Move to William Turner (politician, born 1615). We usually prefer date of birth to date of death, as it fixes people's era better (they may have died young or old). -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:02, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
- That's fine with me. —BarrelProof (talk) 20:22, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
