Poorly written
[edit]This article is poorly written and has considerable problems with WP:V, WP:RS, and other encyclopedic standards. However as I've located sources and have some time at the moment I'm going to rewrite. Will be moving the article first to the correct page. Regards ENCEPHALON 08:51, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
There's a lot more that can be written; will continue to edit. ENCEPHALON
His father didn't influence Moritz's later interest in visual art, that was removed. He went to the movie theatres with his brother to see animated cartoons.
re-write of existing article
[edit]- This article here is just a re-write/paraphrasing of Keefer C., A Lifetime in Animation: The Glamorous Dr. William Moritz. Animation World Magazine. June 24, 2003 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.214.6.87 (talk • contribs) 08:01, 2006 February 19
- To the author of this:
His expansive conception of visual music sometimes lead him to make claims about the history and development of this art form which he left unsupported in his writing.

- Regarding this part, removed:
and some of his claims, notably that Alexander Scriabin's New York premiere of Prometheus: The Poem of Fire employed the color organ|colour-organ invented by A. Wallace Rimington are simply incorrect.
- If you're referring to Moritz's AWN article on color organs, perhaps you are misinterpreting his statement. If you read Peacock, you'll see where Moritz's idea of "forming the basis" originates.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.214.10.12 (talk • contribs) 07:36, 2006 July 23
