Recognition
[edit]The article doesn't make clear exactly which type of "recognition" McVey taught. During WWII, aircraft recognition was a big deal to all concerned. There were similar studies of land vehicles (looking at cupola design, wheel and track design, etc.) and naval vessels (looking at smoke stacks and guns) so military members could identify which type of equipment was seen for intelligence purposes as well as identifying friend or foe. Jane's Information Group is the biggest commercial producer of these guides. I'd switch the link to aircraft recognition if applicable. Otherwise, we can always write up an article.
