Election Campaigns
[edit]My aunt lived in his constituency and with his help was one of the early beneficiaries of orphan's allowance. She eventually married his grandson. I have scanned legible campaign leaflets from the Dec-1918, Oct-1924 and May 1929 elections which appear to be public domain and are arguably one of the best sources about the subject and his policies, perhaps even the elections. I'm aware that this is not normal procedure but does anyone have a problem with loading these for use as a reference? If it helps, to me they seem authoritive and fascinating in their own right. I understand the University of Hull also has a copy. There are 2 additional ministerial photos, 1 from Illustrated London News in 1924 and an undated one probably at around the same time but I don't understand the the copyright issues for these. Advice appreciated. JRPG (talk) 22:27, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- RFC is only for disagreements between users, not checking if something is ok to do. See WP:BOLD.--Otterathome (talk) 21:32, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice. I've been bold but am not an expert on layout. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JRPG (talk • contribs) 19:34, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
