Reviewer: LazyBastardGuy (talk · contribs) 23:14, 5 September 2013 (UTC) Sorry, but it's a quick fail. This article is nowhere near being ready for nomination.[reply]

  • First, the problem template. Until this problem is taken care of, that template cannot be removed.
  • Lead paragraph is severely short.
  • "Career" and "Later career" should be presented in prose and not in a listy sort of way.
  • I'm not by any means a contributor to chess here on Wikipedia, but the "Notable games" section seems wholly inappropriate at least as far as how it's written. This is an inappropriate use of URLs.
  • His life story seems unorganized and is lacking citations in certain places. Sources given seem as if they would be rich with information but are hardly even used.

I'll leave any further review to Wikipedia chess experts. This caught my eye as a Miscellaneous listing, so I thought I'd see what was so unusual about it. In the process, I discovered the article is by no means GA material.

I apologize if this review seems rather brusque, but I don't know how else to express these concerns.
