The article says Milligan arrived on Wanstead, citing Dictionary of Western Australians and The Bicentennial Dictionary of Western Australians. I've checked by both of those refs, and they do say Wanstead. However the article also says he arrived on Stirling's expedition, and James Stirling (Royal Navy officer)#Western Australia mentions Parmelia and HMS Sulphur, but no Wanstead. This reference also says "Milligan, was immediately transferred and embarked with his wife on H.M.S. Sulphur." and does not mention Wanstead.
Do we have any more references or information about where Wanstead comes in to it? There evidently was such a ship - Google search for "wanstead ship swan river colony" finds several references, including:
