I suspect the statement he joined the Grenadier Guards after education at Eton and Sandhurst (which would have occupied him up to about age 19) in the year 1920 may be an error, as he only turned 15 years old in December that year!Cloptonson (talk) 19:41, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
