Conviction
Confusingly, the first sentence of this section read
- "Hale was convicted for only one death - that of after three trials under federal laws and sent to Leavenworth prison in Kansas."
which left his victim's name, Henry Roan, a mystery. I fixed this oversight and added a ref. Rt3368 (talk) 10:36, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Bellmon
Could someone please turn the mention of Gov. Bellmon into a link to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Bellmon ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.17.179.75 (talk) 21:57, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

Article title
Would it make more sense to change the article title (move the article) to "William Hale (murderer)"? Circumspice (talk) 18:06, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
I second changing the title with (murderer). He's not known for being a cattleman. User: 3ew25sqyiayj - 09 July 2020 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 3ew25sqyiayj (talk • contribs) 13:32, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
- It is frankly ridiculous that it says Cattleman and not Murderer 2001:BB6:14B:FD00:DCFA:403D:1F84:5A84 (talk) 04:59, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
- I certainly agree, but middle name seems another way to go. Then we can clean up the lede. Sparafucil (talk) 04:33, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
