So. At the moment, according to this page, "His brother , Charles Kendle, was also a first-class cricketer.", which is fine (albeit the birth years - Charles being born in 1875 and William in 1847 - suggest a rather large age gap). However, on Charles' Page, it currently states: "His nephew, William Kendle, also played first-class cricket.". Now, it's fairly unlikely that both could be true (although again, the ages suggest it's more probable the relationship was the opposite way round), but obviously (as someone without any grapes in this particular wine) I don't know which it is. I'm highlighting so hopefully someone with a better background in early cricket can resolve this. [note also added on Charles' page] Vrillon (talk) 19:20, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
