William Kelly (senator) → William Kelly (Alabama politician) – To distinguish him from William Kelly (New York state senator) and William McDonough Kelly. —BarrelProof (talk) 17:27, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- Support – unless we hear a better idea. Dicklyon (talk) 04:31, 27 October 2018 (UTC)
- A possible alternative would be William Kelly (U.S. senator), but my understanding is that we generally prefer "politician" instead of role-specific disambiguators on Wikipedia (per the discussion at Talk:Arthur Brown (U.S. senator), especially in remarks by Necrothesp, notwithstanding the lack of consensus declared in that discussion). —BarrelProof (talk) 16:46, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nomination — an obvious example of incomplete disambiguation. Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 14:10, 27 October 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:20, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
