Dispute title Founding Father
[edit]@User:Randy Kryn: William Henry Drayton is considered a Founding Father by whom? Since you didn't add a citation, we have no way of knowing. So please apply one so we can discuss what your source is and then what other sources have to say. Thanks. Allreet (talk) 09:07, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
- Debate settled by an incomplete WP:RFC. As a result Drayton is recognized as a founder for signing the Articles of Confederation. Allreet (talk) 18:00, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
Article needs improvement
[edit]Besides needing more citations, Drayton's biography warrants significant improvement. I'm on another quest at the moment, but to help with this, I took the time to dig up a few references as a starting point:
- Library of Congress/National Parks Service
- Drayton Hall Profile
- U.S. House of Representatives Biography
- "William Henry Drayton: The Making of a Conservative Revolutionary" (JSTOR)
- National Portrait Gallery
- William Henry Drayton & The American Revolution (Internet Archive)
- William Henry Drayton Biography (pdf based on book below)
- William Henry Drayton : South Carolina Revolutionary Patriot (Internet Archive)
