Motorcycle Hall of Fame date note
[edit]MHOF citation year of death (1993) does not match newspaper obituary (1992). The newspaper's date was used to create this article. Brianhe (talk) 17:17, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Move?
[edit]Just a quick check to see if it would be controversial to move this article to William H. Davidson (motorcycling). At the Motorcycle Hall of Fame [23] W.H. Davidson is categorized under "Design & Engineering", not racing, and the beginning of that bio says "As the son of William A. Davidson, one of the original founders of Harley-Davidson, William H. Davidson worked his way through the company ranks from shop worker to president of the company. Davidson was a truly talented rider as well, winning the AMA National Enduro Championship in 1930." He won only a single racing championship, but was president of Harley-Davidson for 31 years, from 1942 to 1973.
