It is believed a Comyn son may have drowned in a well, somewhere near the Castle of Rattray, leading to the construction of its nearby St. Mary's Chapel. If this list is complete (which it may not be) then process of elimation shows that if the story is true it must have been William Comyn junior (b.1217) that died as all the rest of his known children outlived him. However, there is a strong possibility that any child who died young may not have been recorded and so it may never be known.
Sir Reginald le Chen of Inverugie (the SECOND of three) (b.c.1200 d.c.1267) was the husband of one of William and Marjory's daughters- it is unknown which one. As all William's daughters have husbands noted, it is entirely possible that Reginald was another husband of one of these daughters.
