Mr. Coates was indedeed in excess of 100 years of age, he was the uncle of my grandmother, who was born Margaret Priscilla Warner in the year 1903. Many facts are not known because a lot of uncle Williams siblings past before the birth of his children. Some of the siblings were not listed and uncle William was not the oldest child.
