Which Step Daughter Was It?

[edit]

Different Sources list different Storers as the possible lady in Newton's life. Most of my research on this family indicated that it was Katherine not Anne who was Newton's early sweetheart. ~Teri

Sources & Instances of Katherine:

I'll have to dig through my notes to find my other sources - I will add them here as soon as possible.

Sources disagree in my research, but the majority say Anne. There is also some doubt over whether or not they where formally engaged. Zerbey 19:01, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There appear to be only 4 children of Katherine Storer's (ne Babington) 1st husband Edward Storer, Edward (b1642, Bunny, Nottinghamshire), Arthur, Katherine and Ann. All and only these are mentioned in Arthur's will of 1686. Ann and Arthur were living and both died before 1727 in Maryland and Ann died Ann Skinner, never having married a Vincent. That can only leave Katherine in Grantham. Russell Newton

William Clarke - death date? baptismal date?

[edit]

Can you tell me the source of the death date? I can't find that death date anywhere. A baptismal date is mentioned? Where was he baptised? Thanks. (Teri 03:41, 17 July 2007 (UTC)).[reply]

I'll check when I get home. Zerbey 21:39, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
