The real Irvine
[edit]This guy was a thug who participated fully in the killing of supposed cattle rustlers Nate Champion and Nick Ray during the Johnson County War, which was planned by Irvine and other cattle barons of Wyoming. They hired a bunch of Texas killers to attack small ranchers and cowboys deemed to be rustlers. The territory and state of Wyoming was run by the large cattle ranchers from the rancher's Cheyenne Club in the capital. This man Irvine did their dirty work for them. The article is a whitewash. See Time-Life Books, "The Gunfighters", 1974, for more details. 47.232.145.208 (talk) 20:06, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
