Benson or Pease?

I'm fairly certain that his father was born William Pease not Benson (Benson was his father's mother's maiden name). It is possible it went Pease->Benson->Aldam. I"m going by my family records (I'm descended from his father's youngest and only surviving brother) and by http://thepeerage.com/p31784.htm#i317834 (which quotes Burke's Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Landed Gentry). --Erp (talk) 20:10, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
