God Must Love Fighter Pilots
[edit]The biography section of this article ends: "He assumed his present position on May 1, 1978." As he died in 2003, God must have been really impressed to let him continue on with his Air Force career posthumously (either that or the Air Force is much more liberal on its TDY assignments these days). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.158.61.139 (talk) 13:30, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
No Mention of Gen. Creech's Role in 1982 USAF Thunderbirds Indian Springs Videotape Destruction
[edit]Why is there no mention in this article of Gen. Creech's key role in destroying all videotapes of the infamous 1982 USAF Thunderbirds Indian Springs crash where four USAF Thunderbirds pilots flew their aircraft into the ground? Gen. Creech is mentioned prominently in the Wikipedia entry on the Indian Springs crash, but this article on Gen. Creech is strangely silent on the matter. Gen. Creech's retirement in December 1984 came a scant three months following the GAO report in September 1984 that highlighted Gen. Creech's command to destroy all copies of the videotape to avoid "sensationalism". Was this just a coincidence, or did Gen. Creech retire under pressure?74.179.116.100 (talk) 02:17, 12 October 2014 (UTC) ^ Conahan, Frank. "Partial Videotape Erasure of 1982 Air Force Thunderbirds Crash (GAO/NSIAD-84-153)". US GAO.
