I researched and wrote this article because I have an interest in historical children's literature and could find very little that had ever been written about Wide Awake. My main sources of information came from two reference books on American magazines, and from the fourteen issues of the periodical that I own. Additional sources of information were a book written by the founder's daughter, a volume of Who's Who In America, and a 1910 article about author Margaret Sidney.
Obviously there is a great deal that I don't know, so there's little I can do to move this article out of the Start category. My hope is that others who had done research on Wide Awake will share their knowledge, and improve this article. Karenthewriter (talk) 15:17, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
