Discovery table

[edit]

Since all the planets in the table have known mass and radius, would it be appropriate to add a density column too? --Artman40 (talk) 11:52, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Go ahead, it would add information to the table.Quantanew (talk) 02:24, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It can mess up the table though. --Artman40 (talk) 13:09, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

7 minute sweep

[edit]

I was at a talk by one of the project members, Jakub Bochinski, a few days ago. He mentioned that each of the two telescopes performs a complete hemispheric sweep (imaging half the sky) every 7 minutes - hence, together, the whole sky in that time. (I'm pretty certain it was this project he was referring too, though he talked about several others.) This might be interesting to add. Unfortunately I don't have a reference for this at the moment. 31.53.186.67 (talk) 17:32, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Discovery table

[edit]

Is there a specific reason for the current structure of the table that displays all the discovered planets? (e.g. the table or records is/are copied-pasted from a website, and/or pasted into other articles).

If not, I would change the layout and update the table (see example below) -- Cheers, Rfassbind – talk 01:27, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
