Italic text I have a story of when i was about 10 yrs old. I met mr. mayo outside a show he was doing in rockland county n.y. he had just finished a set of his comedy stand up and he did a trick with a cigarette for me and another kid standing outside the theatre he was performing at. he said he was hungry and if one of us could get him some kfc that was across from the theatre. so i went for him and got him a 2 pc meal if i remember correctly but i remember the honor it was for me because to me; he was a big star then and every time to this day {I'm 42 now} I see him on the redd foxx show i go back to that time; and remember it fondly. i always wished i could meet him again and see if he remembered that kid that got hiom some chicken ; probably not but I'll always remember that day i met a real star.
