Content and SavoyStyle.com
[edit]A lot of this information was taken from savoystyle.com. There's more information there that isn't here, but I didn't want to lift the whole page for copyright reasons. I know there is more information out there on this group. Maybe a list of more members. And why is Frankie Manning the only member with his own page? What about Al Minns or Leon James, or Norma Miller? And should there be a page for the Ray Rand Swingers, the dance troupe from the west coast?
- I've added Frankie Manning's autobiography as further reading. If anyone wants to do some digging, it probably has enough material for at least a good stub (more in some cases) on many of the dancers mentioned here. - Jmabel | Talk 16:31, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
California Routine
[edit]Was curious on opinion here. The California Routine is a somewhat significant routine, but (I would say) not significant enough to meet WP:Notability to have its own WP article. However, I would think that it is significant enough to have a section within an article, of which, I think this would be the most appropriate article to host such a section. Several other articles mention the California Routine (such as the Hot Shots article) and these could link to this article either directly (with appropriate section hash tag), or to "California Routine" page but have that page redirect to the section within this article. Any thoughts on this? As I said, I think it's significant enough to deserve a section. — al-Shimoni (talk) 23:15, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
