Suggestion
[edit]From a UK dweller: Over here, the word 'cottaging' is mainly in use in the gay community, and means visiting public toilets in search of interesting encounters. It would seem that this meaning is not as common over there, but I wonder if someone might reword the bit in this article that could cause, shall we say, confusion amongst tourists? I have a cabin in the whiteshell and have never heard of that word being used to mean anything other than to stay in a cottage ;) What would you suggest we replace it with? 24.77.25.45 (talk) 01:37, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Looks like someone has already tidied up the unfortunate misunderstanding. Added a little more detail to help keep things clear :) Felspar13 (talk) 03:14, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
I notice this article doesn't directly state that there are developed properties surrounding many of the lakes, occupied by individuals either seasonally or as a permanent residence. Would you consider adding something about this, since visiting these cabins is one of the main reasons people visit the park? -Kjbatch (talk) 02:41, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
Have you considered improving the Park Permits section by either linking it to a Government of Manitoba website, or by using a government website as a citation? -Kjbatch (talk) 02:47, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
