Extended Details
[edit]Does anyone have any further details on the Government's websites? For example, what group within the Whitehouse/Executive branch administrates & maintains Whitehouse.gov? Was it a new/special team assembled under the Obama admin, or did it exist before he took office? Anyone? Ipso-De-Facto (talk) 08:05, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Title Capitalization
[edit]Why is this Wikipedia article called "whiteHouse.gov" as opposed to WhiteHouse.gov, whitehouse.gov, or Whitehouse.gov? 108.58.107.174 (talk) 07:59, 3 September 2014 (UTC) PROPIETARIO LUIS CAUDILLO VELAZQUEZ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.84.112.204 (talk) 00:43, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

This RM has attracted only one substantive response, which weakly opposes. Accordingly, there is no consensus. The RM has been relisted twice and been open for 4 weeks without attracting further participation, so there is no realistic prospect that consensus will be reached.(non-admin closure) Havelock Jones (talk) 19:39, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
Whitehouse.gov → WhiteHouse.gov – Per here, the format used by the White House itself is WhiteHouse.gov. That formatting is clearer to readers, so I think we should adopt it as well. {{u|Sdkb}} talk 19:31, 14 October 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. - (As a technical note, if this nomination succeeds, {{Lowercase title}} should be removed, which will capitalize the W in the display.) {{u|Sdkb}} talk 19:32, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. Domain names are case-insensitive, but all lowercase reads better. JIP | Talk 23:59, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
