I removed this taxobox identifying it as Xiphactinus (added 03:15, 24 July 2012 by 74.212.19.141). There is no mention of Xiphactinus in either of the two references currently given, and even if there were, a prominent taxobox isn't appropriate for a Cryptid. -- ToE 21:41, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
Extreme range of hooded seals
[edit]I was concerned that the mention of hooded seal sightings as far south as Florida (added 22:04, 6 May 2013 by 76.18.205.248) might have been vandalism, but it is supported at this NOAA page. -- ToE 21:51, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
