Removed sentence
[edit]I just removed the following sentence: "In recent years, the brand has become notorious for its popularity within chav culture, and is often mentioned during stereotypical descriptions of chavs." It really needs a reference before adding back. --BelovedFreak 18:44, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Clearly, he's not. Any chance we can add a sentence on how the cider is "pure fookin bangin' like m8"? ^^ 82.16.83.23 (talk) 08:37, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Removed [Citation Needed]
[edit]Removed from here: "making it popular with those wishing for alcoholic intoxication at a minimum price."
Given the evidence provided (WL is cheap and strong) the fact that it is popular amongst people who want to get drunk cheaply can be derived using basic deductive reasoning; I don't see that a citation is necessary for something that can be proved a priori. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.86.61.129 (talk) 19:04, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
White lightning is still on sale
[edit]The article seems to imply the drink is still unavailable. This is incorrect: I don't know about the big supermarkets, but it can absolutely still be bought at some independent retailers (my local newsagent, for one). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.174.190.109 (talk) 14:38, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
