White House chef
[edit]Why doesn't White House Chef just redirect here, with a hatnote for the pastry chef? A two-item disambiguation page seems like unnecessary overkill. And having it be separate from White House chef seems very confusing and un-helpful. GA-RT-22 (talk) 00:24, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
- I have boldly made the redirect. GA-RT-22 (talk) 21:58, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
Planning and preparing of all menus and meals
[edit]Why do we say the chef is "responsible for ... planning and preparing of all menus and meals" when that's obviously not true? What does French actually say? The president sometimes eats at the White House Mess, and sometimes has McDonald's delivered, and I don't think the chef is involved in either of those activities. Article title
[edit]@Eyer: I think we probably should re-name the article title too, to "White House executive chef". GA-RT-22 (talk) 21:27, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- That would be appropriate, since “White House” acts as an adjective that modifies “executive chef”. I’ve never done a page move before. Is that something that you can help with? —Eyer (he/him) If you reply, add

to your message. 12:56, 1 August 2024 (UTC)- I'll wait a few days to see if anyone else comments then go ahead and move it. GA-RT-22 (talk) 15:44, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
