Reference to Hanford Plutonium
[edit]I am questioning the value of this line in the article: "Plutonium produced at Hanford was used to produce the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, Japan on August 9, 1945." This isnt really an article about the history of the Hanford works, so much as of the town of White Bluffs. I understand that the history of White Bluffs is inextricably intertwined with the History of the Manhatten Project, but this factoid probably belongs in the main article about the Hanford works, and not here. If there arent any objections, i will remove it. Nothingofwater (talk) 17:39, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Removed the reference as stated above. Also moved the link to photos to better fit the chronology of the article. Nothingofwater (talk) 20:44, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]AOL Hometown closed down, so the page indicated here isn't available. If a replacement source is available, cool, but I don't think people will find it hard to assume on their own that the Government levelled the orchards and fields to build out these reactors on their own. If there's no objections, it should be safe to delete. 209.180.155.14 (talk) 22:35, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
