[edit]Lead section/infobox
[edit]- Does CITES need to be linked twice in the infobox?
- That's how the template is formatted, can't do anything about that.
- Understood. AM
- I have produced a larger-scale map, which can be amended in any way. i would consider replacing the current one 9which provides little information) with this one, (which provides a little more).
- Done.
1 Taxonomy and systematics
[edit]- Introduce Carole Griffiths, perhaps by saying where her team were based.
- I guess NYC, but not really relevant, is it? I don't really think an introduction can be added, since unlike Sharpe, Griffiths isn't independently notable and I'm just mentioning her because she's the lead author.
- Just checking, but is are further sister grammatically correct here?
- Yes.
2 Description
[edit]- extremely (or perhaps even extremely small) is vague, and seems unnecessary here, given that the measurements are provided.
- Provides a description in case somebody doesn't know how large a falcon usually is and thus has nothing to compare the given length with.
- by a small amount – providing an actual comparison with another species would help this phrase sound less vague.
- Source only says "albeit marginally the smallest"
- also 9 per cent larger - ‘9 per cent larger’?
- I don't see the issue here, do you want % signs instead of the word?
2.1 Vocalisations
[edit]- I would put all of the text in this small sub-section into the Description section (see MOS:LINEBREAKS).
- Done.
3 Distribution and habitat
[edit]- but is found is redundant imo.
- Reworded.
4 Behaviour and ecology
[edit]- Consider swapping The white-fronted falconet in the second paragraph with The species in the first, to improve the prose slightly.
- Done.
- Link preening.
- Done.
On hold
[edit]Most minor issues, easily sorted. I'm putting this interesting little article on hold for a week until 4 September to allow time for the issues raised to be addressed. Regards, Amitchell125 (talk) 14:33, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
