Notability
[edit]In response to the notability template, I offer my opinion. I think this article meets the general notability guideline: "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." (At WP:GNG.) The article shows that this play was reviewed by The New York Times, and was discussed in several books about Terrence McNally's work. I'd think that a New York Times review plus being written about in several books would meet the significant coverage guideline: "Significant coverage addresses the topic directly and in detail. Significant coverage is more than a trivial mention, but it need not be the main topic of the source material." These sources are, I believe "reliable" and are also independent of the subject, that is, Terrence McNally.Flami72 (talk) 19:26, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
