I made some corrections concerning the "Where Did Our Love Go?" album. This album did not sell anywhere near 4 million copies in the United States...regardless of time.
It sold, 1,000,000 in 1964-1965, and sold until 1988, 3,225,000 copies World-wide. It s their third best selling album behind "The Supremes A Go Go," and their biggest selling album, "Diana Ross And The Supremes Greatest Hits."
Please, be accurate when posting facts and keep the fan routine out of this.
- I have removed album sales figures as no one has provided a reliable source for accurate sales data for Supremes albums. As Motown did not submit their sales data to industry organisations like the RIAA, there aren't certifications we can go by either. They are however published sources for their million-selling singles. JonathanLGardner (talk) 02:51, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- The sales figures for "Where Did Our Love Go?" are as accurate as possible since Motown did not keep accurate tallies of whatever they sold. The 3,225,000 sales are from Soundscan through 1988. They are accurate as can be reasonably expected. Motown was a "C" corporation which is privately owned; hence, it was not committed to RIAA sales justification authorization. It is all with the "Public Domain" if one investigates. Spenser - The Unknown (talk) 17:54, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
