hmm... i don't think they interviewed parents of a soldier KILLED in Iraq. if you listen carefully, the interviewer asked "how do you feel about your son leaving?" their son is probably still stationed in Iraq, perhaps has been for a long time, but not killed. they look too composed to be the parents of a dead soldier.

don't know who wreote the above section but i agree with everything they said--Puckeater8 01:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contest Winner

[edit]

Should the contest be that prominent in the article? It feels like the winner/winning entry is given more attention than the actual artists/single. just sayin'. FruitMart07 00:35, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I feel the exact same way. Can we talk about making the actual video? Or hell, even a summary of the real video, not the contest? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.213.208.254 (talk) 22:40, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thirding this. It isn't so much as describing the contest as it's an over-descriptive letter to the contest winner. There's no mention about that the last part of the contest was a vote-off between the other two leading entries, which aren't even mentioned here. I'd prefer a broader description of the real video. --KATHYxx (talk) 02:56, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Where'd You Go - Front Cover Pic.jpg

[edit]

Image:Where'd You Go - Front Cover Pic.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Genre

[edit]

If the album is Alternative Hip Hop, then that is a good enough to reason to consider this Alternative Hip Hop. It doesn't really sound like Hip Hop at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JCStreetSoldier1234 (talkcontribs) 14:49, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative hip hop is a subgenre of hip hop. WesleyDodds (talk) 01:27, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nu Metal is a subgenre of Alternative Rock. JCStreetSoldier1234 (talk) 00:25, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No it isn't. It's a subgenre of heavy metal. WesleyDodds (talk) 02:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was about to remove "emo" as a genre but come to think of that it actually makes sense. The lyrics and the sad presentation do seem emo-ish to me. Emo rap exists, doesn't it? Jerkov (talk) 22:34, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
