Ambiguity in Plot Regarding Sweethearts

[edit]

Although the article follows the film's plot as stated in the 1924 issue of Exhibitors Trade Review has Kitty ending up with the ranch foreman, the synopsis of the allmovie database indicates that Knight and foreman Phil switch their original sweethearts with Knight ending up with Kitty and Phil with Helen. While the latter version of the ending may be correct since Helen was looking for a "man's man" (and ends up with a ranch and the foreman) and Kitty had decided she did not like ranch life (and ends up with the rich guy presumably to return to the east), additional evidence is needed to determine which ending is correct.
