What i got reprise version lyrical difference
[edit]The lyrics, i never start no static, i just get it off my chest, i never had to battle with no bullet proof vest are reversed in the reprise version. I have the damn album and i listen to it all the time and there is really not much evidential proof of it except to go listen to the song and see what i mean. I don't know if that was a goof up or if it was done to add some what of a difference to the song. --68.35.135.13 (talk) 22:21, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Not unlike the Fugees
[edit]Take a listen to the Fugees (Tranzlator Crew) Nappy Heads (1994). First, listen to the beat, then about a minute in Lauryn Hill sings the lyrics "never had to battle with a bullet proof vest." With Half Pints background in the dancehall, reggae world, it's hard to believe he wouldn't know this track. Interesting indeed... hhmmmm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8sNnNRhQ2g
