"Silk Stocking"
[edit]In the article on Sir Sidney Herbert, 1st Baronet, Westminster Abbey is referred to as one of London's "silk stocking" constituencies, but I have been unable to find out exactly what this means. Can anyone enlighten me please? PhilUK (talk) 20:41, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
