Westlothiana, an early reptiliomorph
[edit]Westlothiana was demonstrated by Ruda et. al. (2003) to be related to Lepospondyli, with the two groups forming a clade sister to Amniota. Their study retains Westlothiana within Reptiliomorpha. Therefore, update the Westlothiana page.

[edit]The original text of this article, created April 30, 2006, is an exact duplicate of the text at http://www.ppne.co.uk/index.php?m=show&id=16387, which, however, is dated June 1, 2006. It is therefore appears that this WP entry was created first. I would look into this more, but the ppne.co.uk site is responding slowly, if at all, right now. -- Donald Albury 12:57, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
